An image from my first “real” photo shoot… it seems like a lifetime ago, but was only a couple of years ago. I still love this image. So weird seeing my old logo, it’s evolved several times since then. I used to say I reinvented myself more times than Madonna… now I’m going to say I reinvent myself more times than Katy Perry. I find I can relate to the latter a little more than the former these days. I confess, I watched her movie on iTunes tonight with my daughter. Don’t laugh, but I should have brought a box of tissues in with me in front of the t.v. All I can say, is GO KATY!
The weather is finally starting to cool down a bit. It’s only 92* when I’m creating this post at 7:30 p.m. That’s better, right? Tomorrow’s only supposed to be 104*. Sheesh, we’re practically pulling out our sweaters here. I hope everyone is enjoying their autumn weather ((jealous!)). I’m hoping to get outside and start shooting my Nikon here in three weeks!
In the meantime, I have the most fragrant bouquet of flowers I’ve ever smelled since I’ve been in Kauai sitting in a vase in my bedroom! I have NO clue what these are, and they look so totally weird! ((Which is always a good thing as far as I’m concerned!)) I should probably get off the computer and go shoot them before they open up tomorrow so I can document the blossoms.
