Another glorious texture Tuesday. I love these tiger tulips, they’re so unique. I was sad when they died. Aren’t we all sad whenever flowers die? Have no fear, I have some itty bitty orchids just waiting to be processed.
This one took me quite a while since I wound up expanding the canvas after I’d already finished the image. It all worked out. I didn’t take the time to write down all the data, but I can tell you that I used Kim Klassen’s Oh My (Multiply blend mode 69% opacity) and Let Go (Divide blend mode 69% opacity) textures. I’ll claim trade secrets on the rest.
Happy Tuesday everyone & adios Monday!

Very beautiful, love the text too!
Thank you so much, I appreciate the compliment!
Beautiful tulips, such a fabulous colour. Love the texture work too
Thank you, so nice of you to say so.
Nice vibrant colors! This is spring leaning towards summer
It hit 106* in AZ over this past weekend, so I’m saying our summer is pretty much here! Thank you for the nice compliment!
Love, love, love the quote. Your image is lovely and this is a great use of the texture. I would just love it if you shared this with my new “Flower Art Friday” linkup. We just started today. Here’s the link! http://www.photosbyleanne.net/2012/04/flower-art-friday.html
Done! I just posted it. Thank you so much for the invite! I’ll have to remember to hop over to your blog on Fridays!
